I am a mom and an adventure planner, a person who enjoys spending quality time with family.

I am Cristen Roberts. I live in Montgomery, Alabama with my husband Josh and 5 amazing children. Whether it is for an afternoon or a week, I am always dreaming up a new adventure for our family.

I have traveled both in the United States and abroad. I am particularly fond of long road trips which take our family to our favorite parks, beach towns, mountains, and just about everywhere in between.

Over the years we have enjoyed snow skiing, hiking, backpacking, tent camping, RV-ing, kayaking, rafting, beach trips, mission trips, traveling overseas, and much more. We have visited multiple national parks, national monuments, and state parks.

At Camp Cristen my focus is to provide you with travel ideas that are affordable, family-friendly, and adventurous. Whether close to home or far away, I hope you are inspired to get outside and appreciate the beauty of the world around you.

I love the way that travel opens our eyes to a world full of wonder and beauty. It brings life to the books that we read, the pictures that we see, and the people and places that we dream of visiting.
